how a dyslexia or dyscalculia assessment can help

Many individuals face challenges with reading, spelling, writing, organisation or mathematics despite their effort and ability. A diagnostic assessment helps explain why these difficulties occur, providing clarity, confidence and practical next steps.

I carry out assessments as a Level 7 Specialist Teacher Assessor with a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). My assessments meet the requirements of schools, colleges, universities and Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).

The outcome is a detailed report explaining your child's (or your own) unique learning profile, together with personalised recommendations. These may include tailored teaching approaches, examination access arrangements, Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) applications, workplace adjustments, and strategies to build confidence and independence. Every recommendation is tailored to the individual and designed to be practical, achievable and relevant for home, school, university or the workplace.

Whether you are looking for answers for your child or wanting to better understand your own learning profile, my aim is to provide the clarity and practical guidance needed to move forward with confidence.
